Showcasing The Metropolitan: A Uniquely Historic Building

DBMK recently had the extra-special opportunity to help create new branding and a website for the Metropolitan, an architecturally historic building in Capitol Hill. Since we care so much about preserving these buildings, why don’t we give them a proper online presence – versus leaving them in web purgatory on a leasing platform template? The DBMK team was honored to help bring the Metropolitan’s mid-century modern architecture alive through integrated marketing.

With its striking lines, geometric floor-to-ceiling windows, and spacious balconies, the Metropolitan is a truly iconic example of mid-century modern architecture. The design of Hungarian-born, Colorado-based American architect Eugene Sternberg, the building has been featured in Denver Modernism Week.

Sternberg, who moved from Europe to the United States near the end of WWII, was interested in designing “socially conscious, modern housing” that offered residents quality of life and a sense of community. He designed more than 400 building projects, housing subdivisions, and master-planned communities over his long career, many of them iconic examples of modernist architecture. Sternberg was passionately committed to delivering innovative, contemporary design to the general population, striving to make all he designed beautiful, useful, thoughtful, and economical.

The Metropolitan is far from ordinary, and we greatly enjoyed collaborating with Botnick Realty to create a fresh new website worthy of the building’s storied past. Is it time to give your unique property the high-quality web presence it deserves? Let’s talk.
